This Shipping Policy explains how Aethelmisdress processes and delivers dress orders within Hong Kong. It covers our service area, free shipping arrangement, dispatch stage, transit period, cash on delivery requirements, and steps for addressing delivery concerns. This policy should be read with our Terms and Conditions and Return and Refund Policy.
Aethelmisdress operates and delivers exclusively within Hong Kong. Orders requiring delivery outside Hong Kong are not accepted. Customers must provide a complete, accurate, and accessible Hong Kong delivery address when placing an order.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if the supplied address falls outside our delivery area or cannot reasonably be serviced. Where clarification is needed, Aethelmisdress may contact the customer using the telephone number or email address entered during checkout.
Customers should promptly report an address error. A correction can be considered before dispatch, but Aethelmisdress cannot promise that an address can be changed after an order enters the shipping process. Incorrect or incomplete details may delay delivery or prevent completion.
Standard shipping is free for every accepted Hong Kong order. Aethelmisdress does not add a standard shipping, handling, or delivery charge at checkout or at the doorstep. Customers pay only the stated order total through cash on delivery.
The usual total delivery timeline is two to three business days. It consists of two stages:
Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Hong Kong public holidays. An order placed outside ordinary processing hours may begin processing on the following business day.
The stated timeline is an estimate and not an absolute promise. Severe weather, traffic restrictions, transport interruption, access limitations, public events, incorrect address information, or circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect delivery. Aethelmisdress will provide reasonable information when it becomes aware of a significant delay.
Payment must be made in cash when the parcel reaches the stated delivery address. Customers should ensure that an adult recipient is present with the required amount. Aethelmisdress does not request online card payment or advance bank payment for website orders.
The recipient should review the parcel at delivery where reasonably possible. Acceptance of the parcel does not remove rights relating to a damaged or incorrect product. Eligible concerns remain governed by the Return and Refund Policy.
Delivery may be unsuccessful if nobody is available, cash payment is refused, access is restricted, or the address or contact details are incorrect. Aethelmisdress may contact the customer to discuss another delivery attempt. Repeated unsuccessful attempts or an unreasonable inability to complete delivery may result in order cancellation.
Customers should contact atelier@aethelmisdress.com if an order has not arrived within the communicated timeframe. Include the order number, delivery name, address, and any relevant communication. Aethelmisdress will review available dispatch and delivery records before providing an update.
If a delivered dress is damaged or is not the item ordered, contact atelier@aethelmisdress.com within 30 calendar days beginning on the delivery date. Aethelmisdress may request order information and photographs. Eligible returns include free collection from the original delivery address and no restocking fee. This policy operates under Hong Kong law, including the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26), Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362), Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), Unconscionable Contracts Ordinance (Cap. 458), and Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), where applicable.
Delivery names, addresses, telephone numbers, emails, and related records are handled in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and its Data Protection Principles. Nothing in this policy excludes a statutory right or solution that cannot lawfully be excluded.
