These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made from Aethelmisdress through this website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
Aethelmisdress sells and delivers dresses only within Hong Kong. Questions about these terms, an order, delivery, or a return may be sent to atelier@aethelmisdress.com. We may contact you using the details supplied during checkout when this is reasonably necessary to process your order.
Product descriptions, colors, measurements, prices, and availability are presented as accurately as reasonably possible. Screen settings may cause minor color differences. Review all product, size, delivery, and contact details before ordering.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs when Aethelmisdress sends an acceptance or dispatch communication or dispatches the product. We may decline an order before acceptance because of unavailable stock, incorrect information, pricing errors, suspected misuse, or an address outside Hong Kong.
Customers must be legally capable of contracting. Checkout information must be accurate and current. Someone must be available at the address to receive and pay for the parcel.
Aethelmisdress operates exclusively through cash on delivery. Payment is due in full when the order reaches the stated delivery address. No online card payment or advance payment is requested through this website. Ownership of the product passes to you after full payment and delivery. Risk passes when the product is delivered to you or a person destined to receive it.
If the recipient is unavailable, refuses payment, or provided incorrect details, Aethelmisdress may discuss another delivery attempt. Repeated failures may result in cancellation.
We deliver only to valid residential Hong Kong addresses. Shipping is free, and no standard delivery charge is added. The usual total delivery timeline is two to three business days: one business day for shipping and another one to two business days for transit.
Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Hong Kong public holidays. Weather, transport disruption, access restrictions, incorrect addresses, or events beyond reasonable control may cause delay. We will provide reasonable updates about significant delays. Contact atelier@aethelmisdress.com if an order does not arrive within the communicated period.
Aethelmisdress offers a 30-day return window beginning on the delivery date, solely where the delivered product is damaged or is different from the product ordered. Returns are not offered for change of mind, personal preference, an incorrect size selected by the customer, or ordinary variations accurately disclosed on the product page.
To request a return, email atelier@aethelmisdress.com within 30 days with the order details and issue. Photographs may be requested. Keep the item in its delivered condition, with included components and packaging where reasonably possible. This section does not restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For an eligible return, Aethelmisdress will arrange collection from the original Hong Kong delivery address without a collection or restocking charge. Following collection, we will inspect the item within 24 hours to determine whether it was damaged when delivered or whether an incorrect product was supplied.
If eligible, Aethelmisdress will offer an exchange. If a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a refund. If ineligible, we will explain the decision and discuss returning the item, subject to applicable law.
An eligible refund is processed by bank transfer after the 24-hour inspection. The customer must provide accurate bank details through the requested channel. Although Aethelmisdress initiates the transfer after inspection, the funds may take up to seven business days to appear, depending on the banking provider. Aethelmisdress is not responsible for delay caused by incorrect bank information or banking processing outside its reasonable control.
Materials owned by or permitted to Aethelmisdress may not be copied, republished, sold, or commercially exploited without permission. Use the website only for lawful personal shopping. Do not disrupt it, introduce harmful code, attempt unsolicited access, place fraudulent orders, or misuse another person's information.
Personal data is handled for orders, delivery, returns, support, and legal compliance under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and its Data Protection Principles. Read Aethelmisdress’ Privacy Policy for details. Order communications are not promotional messages.
These terms operate alongside the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26), Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362), Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), Unconscionable Contracts Ordinance (Cap. 458), Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), and Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), as applicable.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights where exclusion is prohibited. To the extent permitted by law, Aethelmisdress is not liable for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Each provision applies only as far as legally enforceable.
Aethelmisdress may revise these terms for future orders to reflect operational or legal changes. The version displayed when an order is placed governs that order unless the law requires otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
Customers should first email atelier@aethelmisdress.com so concerns can be reviewed promptly. These terms are governed by Hong Kong law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. Statutory rights and available solutions remain unaffected.
